Prayer Shawl Ministry

Embracing, comforting, affirming, uplifting and beautifying the receiver

Knitting, crocheting and quilting can become an intentional act of love and kindness towards those who may be experiencing trials of life (illness, surgery, bereavement, discouragement) or times of joy (birth, rite of passage, meditation).

After a public blessing, prayer shawls are given to others who are the focus of our prayers and compassion.

They are meant to wrap around, embrace, comfort, affirm, uplift and beautify the receiver, reminding her/him of the unconditional all embracing love of God.

If you know of someone who would benefit from this ministry, please contact us.
