St. Thomas Cemetery and Columbaria serves our community by providing a dignified disposition of human remains in accordance with provincial statutes and municipal by-laws.
Our cemetery is the final resting place for members of our Faith Community and beyond. A sacred place where the remains of loved ones are shown honour and respect in a peaceful and well-kept environment. It serves as a historical, memorial, spiritual, and aesthetic greenspace for our town of Bracebridge.
We sell both burial plots and columbarium niches. A columbarium is a structure designed for the purpose of interring cremated remains in a sealed compartment. This compartment is called a niche, and each niche can hold 2 urns of cremated remains. St. Thomas cemetery has six 40-niche columbaria, providing for future demand.
Aside from the multi-niche Columbaria that are offered we can also provide personal two-niche mini-columbaria that will hold 4 cremated remains. Each niche is 12” x 12” x 12” and the whole unit is constructed of high-quality granite that can be engraved to the customer’s choosing.
